Strength training without the guesswork

You say which days you can train. Apex Routine decides what you do on those days, based on your goal, your experience, your equipment, your recovery and what you lifted in the weeks before.

How it works

Three steps. You never build a split yourself.

01

Pick your days

Pick your training days in the calendar. For each day you say where you train, gym or home, and the app picks only exercises that work there.

02

The app plans

The generator spreads the volume over your week, keeps muscles apart that are still recovering, and works out your target weight from your last performance.

03

Log and keep going

Log your sets as you train. Next week's schedule adjusts to what you did.

Smart schedule

A schedule that grows with you

Every week the app looks at what you actually lifted and adjusts the plan. No spreadsheets, no guessing how much weight to add.

  • Volume spread smartly over your training days
  • Muscles that are still recovering stay apart
  • Target weight worked out from your last performance

Injuries and exclusions

Keep training, even when something hurts

A sore shoulder or an exercise you just don't get on with doesn't have to break your week. You say what doesn't work, the app plans around it.

Mark an injury

Pick the area that hurts, like your shoulder, lower back or knee. The generator skips exercises that load that area.

An alternative in its place

When an exercise drops out, the app suggests a replacement that trains the same muscles. Your volume still adds up.

Exclude exercises yourself

Hate Bulgarian split squats? Exclude them and the generator never schedules them again.

Apex Routine is not a substitute for medical advice. If you are unsure about an injury, talk to a doctor or physiotherapist first.

Records and max attempts

See how strong you're getting

For every exercise your heaviest weight, estimated 1RM, most reps and volume, with the sessions behind them.

Max attempts on the big liftsOn the big barbell lifts, with a five-step ramp. A max is a record, not a working set.
Apple Watch and Live Activity

Your phone stays in your pocket

Log sets, sit out the rest timer and see your heart rate on your wrist. Your workout counts towards your Activity rings.

Train where it suits you

For each day you choose where you train. The app picks only exercises that work there, with the equipment that's there.

Supersets and dropsets

Chosen per day. The app pairs exercises that don't load the same muscles, or plans the drop after your last working set.
